At McDonough First UMC, our Youth Ministry is dedicated to building a Christ-centered community where every student is known, loved, and supported. We aim to help middle and high school students grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and develop authentic relationships that shape them into bold disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our youth gather on Sunday mornings for "Coffee and Connections"—a relaxed time for conversation and Bible study—and again at 5:00 p.m. for youth group, where we dive deeper into God’s Word through worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of special events like Shingleroof Campmeeting, lock-ins, movie nights, and even axe throwing—offering a fun and meaningful way to connect faith and friendship. No matter where students are on their spiritual journey, they’ll find a welcoming place to belong, grow, and serve.
